The Silver Lake Restaurant is conveniently located mid-mountain and is open during ski season for continental-style breakfast and lunch. Breakfast is offered from 8 to 10:30 a.m. and features continental-style breakfast including a housemade sharp cheddar biscuit sandwich with maple bacon and eggs, fresh pastries, housemade granola and hot Irish oatmeal. Espresso and cappuccino drinks are available.

Lunch is served from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Enjoy lunch on the expansive decks of Silver Lake Lodge or on McHenry’s Beach with views of Bald and Flagstaff Mountains. Silver Lake Restaurant offers the Natural Salad Buffet, hot specialties including grill items, pizza, tacos, soups, chilies and freshly baked goods. Afternoon snacks and beverages are available until 4 p.m.

Grab & Go Dinner

Swing by after skiing and grab dinner to go. Simply visit any of the cashiers at any day lodge to pick up your order. Options include our famous pre-made Deer Valley Turkey Chili with grated cheddar cheese, chopped onions and sour cream, fresh made soup or stew of the day and Caesar salad with housemade croutons and fresh Parmesan cheese. A hearty selection of housemade pastries baked daily from scratch in the Silver Lake Bakery. Items may include banana-honey bread, raspberry coffee cake, brioche cinnamon rolls, fat-free muffins, butter croissants and almond bear-claw danish; also fresh bagels, Deer Valley granola, hot Irish oatmeal, assorted cereals, whole fruit and yogurt are available.


Freshly brewed City roast coffee, cappuccino, latte, espresso, hot chocolate, cider and bottled juices.

Natural Salad Buffet

Features an international variety of meat, vegetable, pasta, grain and legume salads (e.g., penne pasta salad with roasted almonds, lemon and broccoli; wheat berry with roasted garlic and rosemary; sesame beef with crisp oriental vegetables); bread baked fresh daily and tossed green salad with all the condiments you would want, including fresh mozzarella with caper berries, green olives and fresh herbs.

Soups and Stews

Features two soups daily, (e.g., vegan wild rice and mushroom; potato leek; or roast sirloin and sun-dried tomato), as well as hearty burgundy beef stew, and Deer Valley's famous Turkey Chili.

Jumbo Baked Potato

With toppings such as fresh salsa, Deer Valley Turkey Chili and fresh vegetables.

Daily Entrée Special

(e.g., grilled Atlantic salmon with caramelized onion and orange hollandaise, or a charbroiled breast of chicken served with oriental glaze and a fresh ginger sauce).

The Carvery

Two carved roasts daily (e.g., marinated New York strip served with béarnaise, or breast of turkey served with a lemon and fresh thyme sauce).

The Grill

Grilled hamburgers, housemade vegan veggie burgers, turkey burgers, all-beef hot dogs and succulent housemade bratwurst, cooked your way, with all the trimmings. Grilled cheddar and swiss sandwich and our grilled smoked turkey and swiss on rye with a mustard tarragon aioli.


Made-to-order deli sandwiches with fresh sliced ham, pastrami and house-roasted natural beef and turkey breast, with traditional condiments. Also available, our albacore tuna salads and freshly made hummus.


Bakery items are available from 10:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Our famous jumbo cookies, chocolate caramel brownies and fresh, creative desserts including chocolate silk pie, deep powder carrot cake with cream cheese frosting, German chocolate cake and fruit pies.
