Over Nine Hours of Nurturing Care and Summer Fun for Children 2 Months to 12 Years
Deer Valley's Summer Adventure Camp offers creative and challenging activities and interests to ensure campers have fun while learning. Deer Valley's Summer Adventure Camp is based out of the Children's Center at Snow Park Lodge. Surrounded by our incredible mountains, with hiking trails, hillside playgrounds and duck ponds, this state-licensed center provides separate 'home base' space for each age group. The Center has built-in nooks for entertainment and performances, a bouldering rock-climbing wall and a full supply of craft projects, games, puzzles, videos and books to complement our outdoor activities. Counselor ratios are one to three for infants, one to four for toddlers and one to five-eight for the older children. The Center is a nut-free environment. Join us for a great summer of fun at our Summer Adventure Camp. Reservations can be reached at 435-645-6648.
Summer Adventure Camp is open June 10 - August 16, 2013
Camp will not be held Thursday, July 4, or Wednesday, July 24, 2013

Our Camp counselors are trained professionals experienced in childcare and safety. Many of them work in our children's ski programs during the winter or our Deer Valley Academy during the school year. The Counselor/Camper ratios are 1 to 3 for infants, 1 to 4 for toddlers and 1 to 5 - 8 for older children.
Sunflowers are infants aged 2 through 11 months. We provide a safe play time and quiet time for your little ones in our state-licensed child care facility.
Grasshoppers (12 - 18 months and walking) and Ramblers (19-36 months) enjoy play time with friends, music and movement, art and many other organized activities in a safe, fun environment.
Trekkers (ages 3 through 4 years and completely potty trained) are lead in small group settings while they have fun discovering nature and making new friends. Exciting local outings are planned weekly to explore our mountain environment.
Explorers (5 through 6 years of age) and Mountaineers (7 through 12 years of age) participate in creative activities, nature discovery studies and team-oriented sporting events under the guidance of enthusiastic counselors. Exciting field trips are planned weekly to explore a variety of recreational resources in the area. Hiking, mountain biking*, basic biking skills*, swimming, rollerblading, scavenger hunts, wet and wild water games, volunteer projects and creative arts and crafts are all part of this fun and educational program.
Each summer, the campers participate in S.A.V.E. (Summer Adventure Volunteer Effort), which raises money through an art show for a selected organization. Some of our past recipients have been the Carmen B. Pingree School for Children with Autism, Recycle Utah, Wrightsville Beach Sea Turtle Project and the Blind Children's Learning Center. In 2012, the kids raised over $675 for the local Friends of Animals Utah organization.
The annual Art Show, held the first week of August, allows the campers to proudly display the many and varied art projects they worked on so diligently all summer. The pieces are available to purchase for a donation to that year's S.A.V.E. project.
