I-CUP is back June 6, 2015.
The I-CUP racing series is all about mountain bike racing and Deer Valley has plenty of it! On this race course's seven-mile loop, racers will see why Deer Valley is one of the premier mountain bike resorts in the country. There will also be a youth race.
Touted as San Diego’s #1 Reggae Band, and winning the Best World Music category at the San Diego Music Awards in 2009, Stranger is an up-and-coming force, not only with its multifaceted audio recordings, but also because of the band’s stellar and amazingly versatile live performances that have constantly thrilled fans in both the U.S. and abroad. Based out of the south bay of San Diego, neighboring the highest crossed border in the world, Stranger is turning heads through multicultural and musical diversity with a soulful blend of reggae roots, rock and jazz combined with conscious lyrics and unparalleled musicianship.
Deer Valley opens for summer operations. Join us for scenic chairlift rides, lift-served mountain biking, hiking and award-winning cuisine.
Enjoy the beauty of Deer Valley Resort with a free guided hike of the area. These hikes last three to four hours, cover moderately strenuous terrain, are typically less than six miles long and highlight the area's mining history.
Participants meet near the base of Sterling Express chairlift, located mid-mountain at Silver Lake Lodge. Hikes depart at 9:30 a.m.
Reservations are not required, however group size may be limited. Participants should be in good shape, wear sturdy footwear, bring proper sun protection and carry plenty of water and snacks. For the safety of others who share the mountain, no dogs please.
This mountain bike race series is for racers of all abilities. Races range from beginner to pro for both women and men. There is also a free kids’ race for children up to age 12.

Changing Lanes is made up of some of Utah’s finest musicians. Most of these guys have been playing together for 10 years or better. Their chemistry is undeniable and their musical intellect is unchallenged. The performance rating of Changing Lanes Experience is second to none!
It’s a triple billing of chart-topping, California-bred, alt-rock bands. The folk-pop lyricism of Toad the Wet Sprocket (named for an obscure Monty Python reference and fronted by Glen Phillips) is best known for spawning runaway hits “Walk on the Ocean,” “All I Want” and “Fall Down.” Smash Mouth continues its party – which hit full throttle in the late ’90s and 2000s – with surf/garage-tinged pop, notably “All Star,” “Walkin’ on the Sun” and Shrek’s “I’m A Believer.” And the oh-so-fantastically yearning Tonic delivers rootsy rock reflective of its Billboard toppers “If You Could Only See” and “Take Me As I Am.” Three bands. Three interpretations of powerhouse rock.
