To maximize your time with your instructor, sign up for a private ski lesson where you’ll work on techniques that are personalized to your abilities. Become more confident in powder. Carve powerful turns. Ski the Daly Chutes. Whatever your goal, our certified Ski Instructors will provide you with all the tips you need to improve at your own pace.
Private ski lessons are available for all ages and advance reservations are recommended, especially during busy periods and holidays (December holidays, Martin Luther King weekend, Presidents’ Day week and the month of March). Please note: Lift tickets are not included in the lesson price.

Sign up for a private telemark lesson and explore a whole new way of skiing the mountain. Whether you want to learn the basics of telemark skiing or improve upon your existing skills, our certified Telemark Instructors provide valuable, one-on-one instruction that will help improve your balance and technique on the groomers, in the powder or through the trees.
Private telemark lessons are available for all ages and advance reservations are required. Please note: Lift tickets are not included in the lesson price.
Deer Valley Resort and the National Ability Center have had a long-term relationship with the shared objective of providing fun and educational adaptive ski lessons for people with disabilities. Ski Instructors specially trained in working with these clientele are available at both the National Ability Center and the resort. Adaptive equipment, as well as other arrangements based on the skier’s needs, are also provided. Please call for additional information.
Deer Valley skiers enrolled in full-day private lessons may enjoy complimentary Dartfish Video Enhancement Technology. "SimulCam" video enables skiers to observe themselves in comparison to other skiers, and "StroMotion" imagery provides a freeze-frame photo montage. The use of other on-snow devices such as, but not limited to, snowboards, teleboards, ski bikes, sleds, toboggans or monoskis are restricted from use on the mountain. Reasonable accommodations for adaptive ski devices will be made; however, they must be in accordance with the resort's skiing only, on alpine or telemark equipment, policy. Standard adaptive devices recognized by the ski industry and provided by the National Ability Center which provide for equal access and experience are welcome at Deer Valley.
