The tenth annual Park City Point 2 Point mountain bike race is scheduled for September 1, 2018. Some of the country’s strongest endurance mountain bike racers will be riding the best trails Park City, Utah has to offer. With over 400 miles of mountain biking trails in Park City, the riding is expansive and incredibly diverse. Whether you are someone who rides the trails regularly, or you are an out-of-town visitor, this race is guaranteed to please.

This is a true point to point race, and thanks to the plethora of trails, you will never be on the same trail twice. You’ll be riding single track for over 90% of the race, over a total distance of about 75 miles with around 12,000’ of climbing, all while traveling through two of the country’s premier mountain resorts. Jamaica's Kitchen is bringing the flavors and vibe of authentic Jamaican food to Deer Valley. Jamaica's Kitchen offers everything from spicy and sweet Jamaican jerk chicken to homemade beef patties and ting, as well as tender curry goat with rice and beans.

Hike For Hunger is an annual event that raises awareness about hunger issues locally and globally. Each year, Park City's Christian Center serves thousands of residents in Summit and Wasatch counties through local food pantries. The Christian Center also delivers healthy snacks to over 350 local students each month as part of the Snacks in Backpacks program.

Join us September 8, 2018, at Snow Park Lodge for a fun event that the whole family will enjoy! Hike For Hunger will be a Zero Waste event, highlighting our communities efforts to divert waste.

Enjoy the beauty of Deer Valley Resort with a guided hike of the area. These hikes last three to four hours, cover moderately strenuous terrain, are typically less than six miles long and highlight the area’s mining history. Participants meet near the base of the Sterling Express chairlift, located mid-mountain at Silver Lake Lodge. Hikes depart at 8:30 a.m. Reservations are required and a $10 fee applies. Please call 435-645-6648 to make a reservation.

Group size is limited to 40 participants. Participants should be in good shape, wear sturdy footwear, bring proper sun protection and carry plenty of water and snacks. For the safety of others who share the mountain, no dogs please.

16 Sunday Tour Des Suds Logo

Presented by Skullcandy, Tour des Suds is a seven-mile mountain bike climb starting at City Park. You can treat it like a true mountain bike race (yes, there are awards) or a crazy costume party on bikes. Either way, it’s 2,700' of vertical straight up to the finish line/Skullcandy Party Station at the top of Guardsman Pass. Festivities continue back at City Park with lunch and beverages provided by Red Rock Brewery, along with an opportunity drawing, costume contest and awards. Kids 17 years and under receive free entry, but must register. Only the first 250 preregistered participants are guaranteed a pair of official 2018 Tour des Suds socks.
