Housing
When you decide to become a part of the Deer Valley team, we suggest you make finding housing a top priority.
Employee Housing
Deer Valley offers a limited number of dorm style employee housing rooms for the winter ski season for our first year, full-time employees. Rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Housing facilities are located less then two miles from the resort and are on the Park City free bus route.
Deer Valley also offers additional housing that is located about 16 miles south of Park City at the Rivers Edge Resort at Deer Park in Heber. The 200 dorm style cabins are available during the winter season for both new and returning staff.
You will be considered for this housing only when the following criteria have been met:
- You have received and accepted a written Full-Time job offer from Deer Valley Resort
- New staff may apply for the 150 available spots reserved for new staff. Returning staff will be able to apply for the River’s Edge Resort housing up to 50 individuals on a first come first serve basis. Any remaining spaces after October 15, will be open to all on a first come first served basis
- The Housing Manager has received a copy of the signed application and a check or money order (no cash, please) for $200 per person—U.S. currency only, made payable to Deer Valley Resort. You may mail or fax your completed application
The housing is individual cabin style living featuring a common kitchen area, 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms. Each bedroom is equipped with a bunk bed unit and closet space. The kitchen has a microwave, refrigerator and a cook top stove unit. We will be putting 4 people to a unit at a cost of $12 per person per night. The utilities of heat, electricity and water are included. For those with vehicles, parking by permit is available on site.
Tenants need to supply their own bedding, towels, and kitchen utensils. There is a laundry facility on the property as well as a common area with television and game room provided. The property has a small general store for convenience items.
Bus service provided by Deer Valley Resort will transport workers to and from the Snow Park Lodge daily beginning on November 15th. Transportation will also be available for tenants to go to and from the Heber area for groceries and supplies. These schedules are not finalized yet but will be available by late-September.
In order to secure this housing you must submit a Rivers Edge Deer Valley Resort Housing application as well as a $200 deposit. Your reservation will not be considered until both of these items have been received. At that time we will confirm your reservation.
