Private Instruction

All Ages: Lift tickets not included in price.

We recommend the following private lesson guidelines to make your vacation more enjoyable:

Consecutive dates and lesson times will help to ensure the same ski instructor
We recommend private lessons be taken by students of similar ages and ability zones
Only standard lesson times may be reserved in advance. Non-standard lessons are sold on a daily basis and are subject to availability

Prices are based on a per instructor rate.

Private Lesson Rates

Intro to Skiing* 8:50 - 9:50 a.m. (First-timer through Beginner)	$120
9 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.	$450
1 to 4 p.m.	$425
9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (seven hours)	$695
Non-standard Lessons (per hour)	$145/Hour

*Must meet at Snow Park Lodge and ski Wide West only, no exceptions.
Non-standard lessons typically meet and end at Snow Park Lodge.

Pickup, Reservation and Cancellation Policies

Reservations - Advance reservations are essential for all Deer Valley services throughout the ski season, and especially during the Christmas holiday period, Martin Luther King weekend, Presidents' Day week and the month of March. Reservations for private lessons requesting a specific instructor begin on Tuesday, September 2, 2008. For reservation information, please call 888-754-8477 or 435-645-6648. All products are subject to availability and may sell out at any time. It is highly recommended that only one family be included on each reservation.

Payment - The full cost of Skier Services products reserved in advance will be charged to the credit card provided at the time of booking.

Cancellations/Changes - We will gladly give a full refund if reservation is cancelled by 5 p.m. two days prior to the reservation; otherwise, a $100 fee will apply.

Product Transfers - Skier Services products are not transferable to another person, date or program.

No-shows - Full-day rate will be charged for the missed day and remaining days will be cancelled. Products cancelled after the start time are considered a 'no-show.'

Weather & Snow Conditions - Weather and snow conditions are not viable reasons for cancellation.

Start Times - All activities begin promptly at their designated times. Please allow a minimum of 60 minutes to arrange for equipment rentals and to get to your designated meeting place. Due to the size of the Resort and the number of skiers enrolled in activities, we are not able to accommodate late arrivals. Refunds will not be issued.

Adaptive or Telemark Private Instruction

Advance reservations are required for Adaptive or Telemark Instruction.

Dartfish Video Analysis Technology

Deer Valley skiers enrolled in full-day private lessons may enjoy complimentary Dartfish Video Enhancement Technology. "SimulCam" video enables skiers to observe themselves in comparison to other skiers, and "StroMotion" imagery provides a freeze-frame photo montage. This service is offered at no additional charge on a 'first come, first served' basis to private lesson guests, contingent upon availability and/or conditions.
