Children's Ski Programs

Deer Valley's enthusiastic children's Ski Instructors are trained specifically in techniques for teaching children how to ski and instilling a love for the sport in a safe, fun, nurturing environment.

In your children's best interest, we may move them to the appropriate program based on their communication or motor skills or for safety reasons. Please note that during the course of a lesson your child may be riding the lift alone. Minimum age requirements are strictly observed for safety reasons, which are based on years of childhood developmental research and experience. Sunscreen and protective eyewear are required.

Deer Valley offers private lessons to children of all ages, taught by ski instructors specifically trained in techniques for teaching children. There is a beginner lesson offered daily from 8:50 to 9:50 a.m., allowing enough time for your children to participate in a group lesson as well. Our Reservation Department is open daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. MST for all Skier Services products.

Please call 888-754-8477 or 435-645-6648 for additional information.
