Cancellation Policies

Reservations      

Advance reservations are essential for all Deer Valley services throughout the ski season, especially during the Christmas holiday period, Martin Luther King weekend, Presidents' Day week and the month of March. Phone reservations for the 2011-2012 ski season are available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. MST, at 888-754-8477 or 435-645-6648. All products are subject to availability and may sell out at any time.
Reservation Forms

Payment

The full amount of Skier Services products reserved in advance will be charged to the credit card provided at the time of booking. It is highly recommended that only one family be included on each reservation.

Cancellations/Changes

We will gladly give a full refund if cancelled before 5 p.m. two days prior to the reservation; otherwise, the following fees apply:

  • Private Lesson - $100
  • Specialty Programs - $75  Please note: Specialty Programs must be cancelled before 5 p.m. two days prior to the first day of the program, not during the program itself. 
  • Max 4, Teen Escape, Adventure Club, Reindeer Club, Bambi and Fawn - $75
  • Child Care - $45
  • Ski Rental - $20

No-shows

Full-day rate charged for the missed day and remaining days will be cancelled. Products cancelled after the start time are considered a 'no-show.'

Product Transfers

Skier Services products are not transferable to another person, date or program.

Start Times

All activities begin promptly at their designated times. Please allow a minimum of 30 - 45 minutes to arrange for equipment rentals and to get to your designated meeting place. Due to the size of the Resort and the number of skiers enrolled in activities, we are not able to accommodate late arrivals. Refunds will not be issued.

Weather & Snow Conditions

Weather and snow conditions are not viable reasons for cancellation.

Adult Program Minimum Enrollment

  • Max 4 - Two students must participate; otherwise the lesson converts to a 2-hour Private Lesson beginning at the original start time.
  • Specialty Program - Exclusively for Men/Women
    Four students per ability zone must participate; otherwise, the specific ability may not be offered.
  • Adult Private Instruction - Adaptive or Telemark
    Advance reservations are required for Adaptive or Telemark Instruction.
No snowboards, please.
