DEER VALLEY RESORT HIRES NEW GENERAL MANAGER AT TRAIL’S END LODGE

 

DEER VALLEY, PARK CITY, UTAH (October 24, 2011) – Deer Valley Resort Director of Lodging Kim McClelland announced today that Mark Murphy has been named the new general manager of Deer Valley Resort Lodging and Reservation’s Trail’s End Lodge.

Murphy has over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry including his most recent position in Telluride, Colorado, where he has served as the general manager of the Bear Creek Lodge. Prior to his tenure at Bear Creek, Mark was the general manager of the Hotel Telluride, another of Telluride’s most prominent properties. Murphy also held management positions at some of Colorado’s most prestigious resorts, including The Little Nell in Aspen, the Snowmass Lodge and Club in Snowmass and The Peaks Resort and Golden Door Spa in Telluride. Mark received his degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from the University of North Texas and served in the United States Air Force Reserves from 1986 to 1994. Murphy and his wife Cindy and daughter Zoe will be moving to Park City in October, when he will start his position.
