DEER VALLEY RESORT’S
 SUMMER ADVENTURE CAMP
TO OPEN MONDAY, JUNE 13, 2011

 

WHAT:
Deer Valley’s Summer Adventure Camp, for children two months to 12 years of age, will open Monday, June 13, 2011.  Kids may attend daily, weekly or for the entire summer season.  Campers will participate in an array of activities designed to ensure they are creatively challenged and entertained.  The ten-week program is filled with arts, crafts, swimming, hiking, mountain biking, team-oriented sporting events, weekly field trips and many more age-appropriate activities.  Campers also participate in a bi-weekly community service project, the Summer Adventure Volunteer Effort (S.A.VE.). 

New this season, Deer Valley will be offering a seasonal three-day per week rate in addition to daily, weekly and seasonal camp rates.  Campers must be signed up for the same three days each week. Rates vary by camper age; please see costs below.

WHEN:
Monday through Friday, beginning June 13 through August 19, 2011 (excluding Monday, July 4 and Friday, July 22). Camp hours are from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with organized activities from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

All campers need to bring a nut-free sack lunch, water bottle and sunscreen each day. Healthy, nutritious sack lunches are available for a nominal fee.  Field trip and swimming fees are not included in the above prices.  Field trip fees range from $15 to $25 per trip; swimming fees are $6.  For safety reasons and to ensure quality programming, appropriate age divisions are strictly enforced.

Deer Valley Resort’s state-licensed Children’s Center in Snow Park Lodge at the Resort base.

HOW:
Due to the increasing popularity of Deer Valley’s Summer Adventure program, we often reach camper capacity.  Advance reservations are essential.  Please call (435) 645-6648 or (888) 754-8477 for availability.  Cancellations or changes must be made by 5 p.m. two days prior to the reserved date and cancellations for Monday or Tuesday must be made by 5 p.m. Friday; otherwise, a cancellation fee of $25 will be charged.
