Ski Rental

The Deer Valley Rental Shop offers a full line of high-quality Rossignol equipment designed in the latest ski technology and tuned by certified technicians. Locations include: the lower level of Snow Park Lodge, open daily from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Silver Lake Plaza, open daily from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; and, The Lodges, open daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. As an extended guest service, Ski School lessons and single- or consecutive-day lift tickets may be purchased in the Rental Shop.

Pickup, Reservation and Cancellation Policies

Pickup & Return — The Rental Shop opens at 8 a.m. Please allow at least 60 minutes for the rental process. To optimize your time in the Rental Shop, we strongly recommend you make reservations and take advantage of the prepay system. For your convenience, equipment may be picked up starting at 3 p.m., subject to availability, the day prior to your first day of skiing. Equipment must be returned by 5 p.m. on your last day of skiing to avoid additional charges.

Reservations - Advance reservations are essential for all Deer Valley services throughout the ski season, especially during the December holiday period, Martin Luther King weekend, Presidents' Day week and the month of March. Reservations may be made by calling 888-754-8477 or 435-645-6648. We need to know the skier's height, weight, shoe size, age and skier type (see Skier Types below) to make a reservation. All products are subject to availability and may sell out at any time. It is highly recommended that only one family be included on each reservation.

Skier Types
I - Skis conservatively, prefers slower speeds and moderate slopes with lower-than-average release/retention settings
II - Skis moderately, prefers a variety of speeds and varied terrain including most difficult trails
III - Skis aggressively, prefers most difficult, varied terrain with higher-than-average release/retention settings

Cancellations, Changes & No-shows — We will gladly give you a full refund if cancellation is made by 5 p.m. two days prior to your reservation; otherwise a $20 fee will apply. No-shows for any reserved services will be charged the full-day rate for the missed day and the remaining days will be cancelled.

Payment — The full amount of all Skier Services products that are reserved in advance will be charged to the credit card provided at the time of booking.

Weather and Snow Conditions - Weather and snow conditions are not viable reasons for cancellation.

Helmets: Deer Valley encourages our guests to educate themselves about wearing helmets while skiing. To obtain information regarding this topic, please visit the National Ski Area Association Web site at www.nsaa.org. Equipment Damage Insurance: Damage insurance is available for $3 per day and is automatically added to the cost of all rental reservations. Upon arrival, insurance can be declined and the cost refunded. Damage insurance protects the renter from any liability connected to damage to the equipment beyond normal wear and tear. It does not, however, protect the renter in the event of theft or loss. Deer Valley provides secure, complimentary ski storage at Snow Park, Silver Lake and Empire Canyon Lodges, as well as at the Jordanelle Express Gondola.
