Deer Valley Concert Experience

We understand that the shift in Deer Valley’s summer alcohol policy will create some changes in how the concert venue will look and feel to our guests this summer. We wish to provide our guests with as much information as possible about the new food and beverage options that are available, in advance of their arrival. Additionally, we would like to share some details about what to expect and how the new offerings will affect guest flow within the venue.

Ticketed Events

Guests will arrive to Deer Valley’s Snow Park Lodge plaza and have their tickets checked before walking onto the lawn. Once on the lawn, guests will enter the queue and wait for the gates to open. For guests who arrive before the gates open, security staff will be offering to check the IDs of those interested in purchasing alcohol during the concerts. If you wish to purchase alcohol, please plan to have your ID checked at this point to receive a wristband, which will make your purchase quicker once you are inside the venue. For guests who arrive after the gates have opened, Deer Valley staff will assist with ID checks and wristbands at the alcoholic beverage purchase locations inside the venue.

Once the gates open, all guests will need to pass through security to have their bags and coolers checked. As a reminder, here are the items that are allowed and prohibited in the venue this summer:

ALLOWED inside the venue

Blankets
Chairs that are less than nine (9) inches high
Picnics and coolers: all bags and coolers are subject to search
Non-alcoholic beverages in factory-sealed plastic containers (32 oz. or less)
Empty, reusable water bottles e.g., Nalgene bottles, CamelBak-style hydration packs, aluminum bottles (32 oz. or less)
Umbrellas and shade covers; must be taken down before the concert begins

PROHIBITED inside the venue

Alcoholic beverages, marijuana, and illegal drugs
Tarps
Ground stakes
Grills
Glass containers
Flash photography or professional camera equipment
Animals, unless certified as a service animal
Items brought into the venue prior to the gate opening time will be removed
Unattended items left in line outside the entrance gate will be removed
Weapons of any kind (e.g. guns, knives, chains, studded/spiked jewelry)
Remote controlled flying devices or UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles, drones)
Smoking is prohibited

For guests who are inside the venue but wish to leave temporarily, Deer Valley will allow re-entry. Guests may come and go as they like, but any additional bags or coolers brought in will be subject to search.

Guests can expect to find a wide variety of food and beverage offerings inside the Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater at a number of different locations. As guests enter the venue, to their left they will find a paella station complemented by a bar that serves beer and wine. On the opposite side of the venue, guests will find a concession stand that serves beer, wine, a selection of hot dogs and sandwiches, our classic Deer Valley Turkey Chili as well as sides and sweets. At Fresh Tracks Kitchen inside Snow Park Lodge, an impressive array of bowls, salads and sandwiches are available. Fresh Tracks Kitchen is also the only location within the venue that sells cocktails, in addition to beer and wine.
