Winter is just around the corner, and we are excited to share new updates for the upcoming 25/26 ski season. Deer Valley doubles its terrain with the largest ski area expansion in North America, adding 100 new runs and 10 new chairlifts in a single year. From our updated winter trail map and expanded terrain to new experiences across the resort, this season invites guests to discover more of Deer Valley when we open on December 1, 2025.

EXPANDING THE DEER VALLEY EXPERIENCE

This winter marks the next chapter in our Expanded Excellence initiative. The 25/26 ski season introduces seven new chairlifts and nearly 80 new ski runs, bringing our total skiable terrain to more than 4,300 acres. The result is one of the most significant resort expansions in North American ski history, officially more than doubling the size of Deer Valley.

Building on last year’s introduction of Deer Valley East Village and the first wave of new terrain, including three chairlifts and 20 runs, this latest update represents the most transformative phase yet. The expansion connects Park Peak, Big Dutch Peak, Keetley Point, and Pioche Point into Deer Valley’s interconnected trail network, creating a seamless ski experience across an extraordinary new landscape.

Guests can now glide down freshly groomed runs, explore vast new terrain for all ability levels, or take in sweeping mountain views from the East Village Express, a 10-passenger gondola linking Deer Valley East Village to Park Peak

SEASON HIGHLIGHTS

  • Seven new chairlifts, including the East Village Express, a 10-passenger gondola connecting Deer Valley East Village to Park Peak, in addition to the three chairlifts added last season.
  • Nearly 80 new ski runs, of all abilities, including the 4.8-mile-long Green Monster spanning from the top of Park Peak to the Deer Valley East Village base area, including the 20 ski runs added last season.
  • More than 4,300 acres of skiable terrain, over double the size of Deer Valley prior to expansion

LOOKING AHEAD

Deer Valley’s Expanded Excellence initiative continues to shape the future of the resort, with new terrain on Hail Peak planned for the 26/27 season and South Peak in later phases. As the mountain grows, our focus remains the same—providing an exceptional ski experience grounded in service, quality, and care.
