CORDUROY LUNCH
There’s nothing quite like gliding across untouched corduroy, the crisp rhythm of your turns perfectly in sync with the mountain beneath you. At Deer Valley East Village, that feeling is reserved just for you.
Every day this winter, six runs — Spitfire, Caledonia, Klondyke, Pinafore, Mountain Monarch, and the lower half of Matchless will stay freshly groomed and closed until noon. The East Village Gondola Midstation provides easy access, so eat lunch early or wait till after your corduroy turns at noon to eat and enjoy freshly groomed runs for lunch.
After your mid-mountain laps, head to the East Village Lodge (Our Temporary Lodge), open daily from noon to 2:30 p.m., for a signature dish that celebrates Deer Valley’s craftsmanship: Shepherd’s Pie with “groomed” mashed potatoes, textured to look like those same flawless runs you just skied. It’s a delicious nod to the precision and care that define every part of the Deer Valley experience.
Pro tip: Plan your laps around Corduroy Lunch. It’s the perfect pairing of pristine snow and elevated dining.
