Deer Valley Welcomes Feedback in 2027 SKI Magazine Reader Resort Survey
DEER VALLEY RESORT; PARK CITY, UTAH (May 4, 2026) – The 2027 SKI Reader Resort Survey is now open, giving Deer Valley guests the opportunity to rank the resort in a variety of categories for the magazine’s 2027 Resort Guide. Voting is also open for the 2026 Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards, and finalists for the globally recognized World Ski Awards will be announced in June.
“With a historic winter season still fresh in our memories, we encourage Deer Valley guests to participate in the SKI Reader Resort Survey and Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards Survey,” said Kevin Kirksey, Vice President of Marketing at Deer Valley Resort. “These platforms reach discerning skiers and travelers who are planning their next vacation, and we are grateful for our guests for sharing their memorable Deer Valley experiences.”
SKI’s 2027 Reader Resort Survey, open now through mid-June, allows participants to rate Deer Valley in 17 different categories, from Snow Quality and Lifts to Lodging and Après. Voters are encouraged to share their thoughts and feedback regarding their experiences at Deer Valley, which will inform the magazine’s popular fall Resort Guide ahead of the 2026-27 ski season. There is still time to vote for Deer Valley in the 2026 Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards Survey, which recognizes readers’ all-time favorite hotels, cruises, resorts, countries, cities, and islands throughout the world. Deer Valley can be found within the Ski Resorts category, and guests are encouraged to vote and share their feedback in categories including Hotels/Resorts, Lifts and Lines, Restaurants/Bars, Nightlight, Scenery, and Trails and Runs. The Readers’ Choice Awards Survey is available here through June 30, 2026.
Additionally, finalists in the 14th Annual World Ski Awards will be announced on June 17, 2026. For 13 consecutive years, ski industry professionals, the media, and ski consumers from around the world have voted Deer Valley Resort as the United States’ Best Ski Resort in the coveted Awards. More information about this year’s World Ski Awards will be announced soon at worldskiawards.com.

THE DEER VALLEY DIFFERENCE
Deer Valley Resort, located in Park City, Utah, set the standard for luxury in skiing by offering the service and hospitality of a five-star hotel. The ski-only resort is now delivering the largest expansion in ski resort history for the 2025/26 season. This winter, Deer Valley unveils seven new chairlifts, including the East Village Express—a 10-passenger gondola connecting the new Deer Valley East Village to Park Peak. Since December 2024, Deer Valley has added 10 new lifts, doubling its skiable terrain and redefining the mountain experience. This transformation is part of Expanded Excellence, a resort-wide initiative that includes a new portal at Deer Valley East Village with 1,200 day-skier parking spaces, the reimagining of Snow Park base area, and enhancements to on-mountain infrastructure. The resort now features 31 chairlifts, 4,300 skiable acres, seven bowls, and benefits from 300 inches of average annual snowfall. Deer Valley limits daily lift ticket sales and is renowned for its award-winning ski school, elegant day lodges, exceptional dining, and a wide range of luxury accommodations. In 2026, the resort named GMC as the official vehicle of Deer Valley and introduced a new fleet of GMC vehicles for resort transportation and guest experiences. Deer Valley has been named the United States’ Best Ski Resort by the World Ski Awards for 13 consecutive years.
