Adopt-A-Native-Elder Navajo Rug Show & Sale Returns to Deer Valley Nov. 7-9
DEER VALLEY RESORT; PARK CITY, UTAH (Oct. 2, 2025) – For the first time since 2019, the Adopt-a-Native-Elder Navajo Rug Show & Sale makes its long-awaited return to its in-person venue at Deer Valley Resort. Guests will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in Navajo culture through singing and traditional dances and support Native Elders by purchasing their one-of-a-kind hand-woven rugs, crafts and jewelry at the resort’s Snow Park Lodge on Nov. 7 – 9, 2025.
“We are proud to host the Adopt-a-Native-Elder Rug Show & Sale,” said Deer Valley Resort President & Chief Operating Officer Todd Bennett. “We invite guests to share in the celebration of time-honored Navajo traditions and make a meaningful contribution to their communities by purchasing their handmade goods.”
“To have the support of Deer Valley and return to an in-person format is a tremendous opportunity for our Native Elders,” said Adopt-a-Native-Elder Program Founder Linda Myers. “These resilient women face hardships throughout the year and have no means of transportation in order to sell their goods, so having access to this platform is truly a life-sustaining opportunity for themselves and their families.”
A special VIP Reception kicks off the Navajo Rug Show & Sale at Deer Valley on Friday, Nov. 7, 2025, beginning at 4 p.m. The exclusive event will honor the weavers, traditions and stories that sustain the Adopt-a-Native-Elder program, and will feature a flute performance, program insights, a thoughtful menu showcasing authentic Navajo food traditions, and exclusive early shopping access. Click here to purchase tickets to the VIP experience. Following the VIP reception, doors will open to the public at 6 p.m. for early sale access to the Adopt-a-Native-Elder Navajo Rug Show & Sale—this portion of the evening is also ticketed, and a purchased ticket is required for entry.
