Deer Valley Reveals 26-27 Season Trail Map Including New Hail Peak Express Lift & 200 Acres of New Terrain
DEER VALLEY RESORT; PARK CITY, UTAH (Nov. 5, 2026) – Deer Valley Resort has unveiled its new trail map for the 2026/27 ski season, showcasing the latest milestones of the resort’s ongoing Expanded Excellence initiative. The map incorporates the new Hail Peak Express Lift, 7 new runs, and 200 additional acres of skiable terrain to experience this winter. Deer Valley Resort is slated to open to the public on December 5, 2026, conditions permitting.
“This season’s trail map provides a captivating aerial snapshot of Deer Valley’s evolving reach,” said Deer Valley Resort Vice President of Marketing Kevin Kirksey. “As the resort continues to introduce new guest amenities, on-mountain infrastructure, and increased access to never-before-skied terrain, the map will continue to reflect the all-encompassing Deer Valley experience.”
Hand-painted by acclaimed ski map artist Rad Smith, this year’s work of art carefully depicts the mountain’s character and topography while illustrating the landscape’s stunning beauty. Smith’s meticulous artistry carries on the legacy of mountain cartography while creating an intuitive, comprehensive mountain guide to help guests navigate the resort with ease.
