Deer Valley Resort Hosts Fox US Open of Mountain Biking Sept. 11-13
DEER VALLEY RESORT; PARK CITY, UTAH (June 5, 2026) – Deer Valley Resort announces it will be the stage for the Fox US Open of Mountain Biking, the final stop of the Official US National Mountain Bike Championship series. Three days of competition for pro level to youth and adaptive athletes will take place on the Resort’s Bald Eagle Mountain on Sept. 11 – 13, 2026.
“We look forward to welcoming athletes and spectators to the Fox US Open of Mountain Biking at Deer Valley Resort,” said Deer Valley Resort President & Chief Operating Officer Todd Bennett. “Visitation to our world-class downhill terrain continues to grow, and hosting this premier event gives us the opportunity to showcase our extensive trail system, bike park, and rider amenities to a captive mountain biking audience.”
The 2026 Monster Energy Pro Downhill Series presented by Continental consists of five races featuring an international field of pro and amateur athletes competing for overall championship titles. Competition stops include Ride Rock Creek, NC, Mountain Creek Bike Park, NJ, Utah’s Solitude Mountain Resort, and Big Bear Lake, CA, before the series finale, the Fox US Open of Mountain Biking, at Deer Valley Resort on Sept. 11 – 13, 2026, featuring Pro Finals on Saturday the 12th. In its inaugural year hosting this celebrated downhill race, Deer Valley anticipates an estimated 10,000 attendees over three days of competition. In 2026, the resort named GMC as the official vehicle of Deer Valley and introduced a new fleet of GMC vehicles for resort transportation and guest experiences. Deer Valley has been named the United States’ Best Ski Resort by the World Ski Awards for 13 consecutive years.
