Celebrate the holiday season at Deer Valley with a collection of festive on-mountain experiences designed to enhance your time on the slopes. During the holiday period, lifts open at 8 a.m. daily from December 20 through January 4, giving you more time to enjoy the mountain.

SNOWCAT SHOW & TELL
December 20, 2025 - January 3, 2026
Explore snowcat equipment up close and chat with operators to learn how these essential machines help keep Deer Valley running smoothly. This on-mountain experience takes place at Sterling Maze, where guests can stop by to see the equipment and learn more about daily mountain operations directly from the team.
SKI RACING WITH OLYMPIC ATHLETES
December 20, 2025 - January 4, 2026
Enjoy complimentary dual NASTAR racing on the Otto Bahn ski run on Bald Mountain, located adjacent to Silver Lake Lodge. Racing begins daily in the morning, with early access for passholders from 9 to 9:30 a.m., followed by public access starting at 9:30 a.m., and runs through the afternoon, weather permitting. From December 27 through January 3, experience Race with a Champion from 10 to 11:30 a.m. featuring Olympian athletes on course.
SKI PATROL VILLAGE
December 21, 2025 - January 3, 2026
Meet Deer Valley Ski Patrol at Bald Eagle Mountain during patrol-led demonstrations that highlight mountain safety, rescue skills, and daily life on patrol. Patrol members will be on-site to engage with guests and share insights into mountain operations.
Avalanche Dog appearances begin December 26, taking place from 10 to 11 a.m. at Bald Eagle Mountain and 1 to 2 p.m. at the Snow Park Plaza retail tent.
ROSSIGNOL HIGH PERFORMANCE TEST CENTER
December 21, 2025 - January 4, 2026
The Rossignol High Performance Test Center is located near the Race Hill Registration Building at the top of the Ottobahn ski run on Bald Mountain and offers guests the chance to demo the latest Rossignol ski technology for $30 per two-hour session.
SNOW PARK WINTER VILLAGE
December 23, 2025 - January 4, 2026
The Snow Park base area comes alive each day as a lively winter village filled with food, entertainment, and family-friendly fun. Guests can enjoy snacks, canned beer, and cotton candy from multiple food and beverage trailers, browse retail tents, and take in the festive atmosphere throughout the day.
LIVE DJ AT CHUTE ELEVEN
December 26, 2025 - January 4, 2026
Nestled in the heart of Empire Canyon, right outside our iconic Empire Lodge, Chute Eleven presents a world of luxury like never before. Step into our cozy champagne yurt, with live DJ sets starting at 1 p.m. daily. Walk-ins welcome. No ticket required.

Take a break and enjoy live DJ music at the Deer Valley East Village Sprung Structure, setting the soundtrack for a lively mid-mountain stop during your ski day.
DEER VALLEY ADVENTURE PASSPORT
December 30, 2025 - January 4, 2026
Explore the mountain with this fun, family-friendly adventure! Pick up a Passport Card from a Mountain Host, Guest Services, the Snow Park Plaza retail tent, or lift line staff, then ski to each activity location to punch your passport along the way. Complete all stops and head to the outdoor retail tent at Snow Park Lodge to redeem a FREE Deer Valley puzzle (while supplies last).
