CAST & CUT | SEAFOOD DINING
We’ll stop short of calling the reimagined Cast & Cut a comeback of the seafood buffet: it’s more of a revival, including some modifications that improve on a classic. A bountiful selection of sustainably sourced seafood includes raw bars, grilled classics, a carvery station, and so much more. The all-new wine and cocktail program is designed to pair well with the food, and an assortment of housemade sauces allows for a unique spin on the gourmet dishes.

While some may be inclined to fill up on the endless crab legs, oysters, and shrimp, don’t miss the crab cakes, seafood chowder, ceviche, or the resort’s signature paella. For a little “turf with your surf,” the carvery station features rotating selections from the land equally as incredible as those from the sea. Save room for the many dessert options from Deer Valley’s bakery, including the resort’s famous carrot cake. Reservations are required, so make one soon.

SKI-THEMED COCKTAIL BAR
This fun new addition to Deer Valley will immerse guests in the spirit of 70s and 80s ski culture. Located mid-mountain on the second floor above Royal Street Café at Silver Lake Lodge, The Sticky Wicket offers a unique 21+ only cocktail bar experience, making it the perfect spot to unwind with a drink after skiing. The design-focused concept, led by design firm Studio K, embraces the Golden Era of skiing with vintage footage from filmmaker Warren Miller and vintage decor sourced by Mountain Gazette editor Mike Rogge. Celebrate ski legends from a bygone era, including Deer Valley’s longtime Director of Skiing, Stein Eriksen.
The craft cocktails pair well with an elevated bar food menu featuring shrimp cocktails, fresh oysters, sticky-finger brisket fries, and artisan nachos—perfect for lunch in between ski laps or après-ski. In addition to the featured cocktails, this charming ski bar includes an absinthe bar, shotskis, and an expanded beer selection.

NEW BEER AND COFFEE OFFERINGS
Another exciting addition this year is the expansion of craft beer selections across the mountain, including new beer on tap at Cushing’s Cabin from a variety of local Utah craft breweries. Guests will also enjoy coffee from La Colombe at Cushing’s Cabin and Deer Valley Etc. Be sure to check out the updates to Deer Valley Etc. while you’re grabbing a morning cup of brew—it’s been transformed into a café concept in its original location at Snow Park Lodge.
