Deer Valley Introduces New High West & History On The Slopes Private Ski Tours
DEER VALLEY RESORT; PARK CITY, UTAH (Feb. 18, 2026) – Deer Valley Resort unveils an exclusive on-mountain experience that blends skiing, storytelling, and rare whiskey with High West & History on the Slopes. Guided ski tours steeped in the history of Park City’s silver-mining era, paired with a fondue lunch and whiskey tasting at Deer Valley’s Chute Eleven Yurt, will be held Tuesday, February 24, and Tuesday, March 24, 2026.
“High West & History on the Slopes is rooted in the stories and setting that define Park City,” said Deer Valley Communications Director Emily Summers. “By pairing historic terrain and storytelling with a curated tasting from High West’s local whiskey library, this experience offers a distinctive way to connect with the heritage and character of the mountain, both past and present.”
High West & History on the Slopes events offer a one-of-a-kind opportunity to experience Deer Valley’s heritage in a way that can’t be replicated on or off the mountain. Led by Deer Valley Mountain Hosts, guests will ski historic terrain before gathering slopeside at Chute Eleven to enjoy a curated fondue lunch and a guided tasting from High West Distillery’s local whiskey library, featuring limited and reserve selections rarely poured. Each event is inspired by a larger-than-life figure from Park City’s past, brought to life through story, setting, and flavor.
