Deer Valley Resort Opens for Summer Season Friday, June 19, 2026
DEER VALLEY RESORT; PARK CITY, UTAH (June 16, 2026) – Summer will soon be in session at Deer Valley Resort, kicking off a full season of lift-served mountain biking, hiking, and scenic chairlift rides. Season pass options are on sale now, and registration is open for Deer Valley’s newly expanded Women’s Ride Series and Kids Gravity Camp. Deer Valley’s summer season officially begins this Friday, June 19, 2026.
“We look forward to welcoming families and friends back to the mountain for summer operations at Deer Valley Resort,” said Deer Valley Resort President & Chief Operating Officer Todd Bennett. “Multiple pass options and expanded on-mountain value give guests the flexibility to enjoy the mountain however they choose all season long.”
Summer operations open at Deer Valley Resort on June 19, 2026. Summer bike products, including Bike Park day passes, season passes, and lift-access packages are on sale now at deervalley.com. Options include:
Deer Valley Access Pass: $329 (was $425) — Full Ikon 25% off; Local / Industry / Military
Solitude Summer Pass: $299 (was $350) — Ikon pass 25% off
Wasatch Gravity Pass: $399 (was $450) — no discounts apply
NEW: Deer Valley Pedal Pass
Starting this summer, anyone entering the Deer Valley Bike Park will be required to have a Deer Valley Pedal Pass and a signed waiver. The Pedal Pass supports the people, programs, and resources that help create a safe and enjoyable riding experience throughout the season. Revenue from the pass helps fund trail maintenance, bike patrol, operations, and guest safety initiatives across more than 100 miles of professionally maintained trails.
The Pedal Pass is available as a $12 daily pass or a $50 season pass and is valid only during Bike Park operating hours: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, including Twilight Wednesdays. Riding Bike Park trails outside of operating hours is not permitted. Please note that multi-use trails that do not connect to the Bike Park are not included in the Pedal Pass program.
Women’s Ride Series
July 11, July 25, Aug. 8 | 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Building on last year’s Women’s Ride Series, Deer Valley is expanding this summer’s program into a three-part clinic series designed to create a welcoming, progression-focused experience for beginner to advanced female mountain bikers ages 16 and older. Participants will benefit from professional coaching from experienced female instructors, a small 1:5 coach-to-rider ratio, and guided rides and skill development sessions. Morning coffee, lunch, après, a special gift, and a Deer Valley Summer Access Pass (3-Day Series only) are included.
Daily Schedule
9 a.m. | Coffee, introductions, and coach meet-and-greet at Carpenter Café
10 a.m. – 1 p.m. | Guided instruction, on-trail coaching focused on skill development and progression
1 – 2 p.m. | Included lunch on the Silver Lake Lawn
2 – 5 p.m. | Open ride session
5 – 6 p.m. | Après at Carpenter Café, including a special participant gift

Kids Gravity Camp
July 10, July 24, Aug. 7 | 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Open to riders ages 10 to 14 of all ability levels, this full-day camp combines professional instruction, lift-served riding, and plenty of trail time in Deer Valley’s world-class bike park. With a 4:1 student-toinstructor ratio, campers receive personalized coaching while progressing at their own pace in a fun and supportive environment. Each camp day includes a lift ticket, sack lunch, and access to full-face helmets and protective pads if needed, with discounted bike rentals available as an add-on.

Scenic Lift Rides and Hiking

Join expert guides to explore local trails and discover native flora on a private guided hike, or learn about the area's rich mining history on a guided historical hike.

THE DEER VALLEY DIFFERENCE
Deer Valley Resort, located in Park City, Utah, set the standard for luxury in skiing by offering the service and hospitality of a five-star hotel. The ski-only resort is now delivering the largest expansion in ski resort history for the 2025/26 season. This winter, Deer Valley unveils seven new chairlifts, including the East Village Express—a 10-passenger gondola connecting the new Deer Valley East Village to Park Peak. The resort now features 31 chairlifts, 4,300 skiable acres, seven bowls, and benefits from 300 inches of average annual snowfall. Deer Valley limits daily lift ticket sales and is renowned for its award-winning ski school, elegant day lodges, exceptional dining, and a wide range of luxury accommodations. In 2026, the resort named GMC as the official vehicle of Deer Valley and introduced a new fleet of GMC vehicles for resort transportation and guest experiences. Deer Valley has been named the United States’ Best Ski Resort by the World Ski Awards for 13 consecutive years.
