Deer Valley Presents Matilda Park City with Special Guest Chef Sarah Glover in Taste of Luxury Series
Park City, Utah; June 25, 2024 – Deer Valley Resort announces the fourth installment of this summer’s Taste of Luxury Series, which will celebrate the launch of a new local restaurant, 5-Seeds’ sister restaurant, Matilda with Guest Chef Sarah Glover. The unforgettable summer evening at Deer Valley’s picturesque Cushing’s Cabin will be held on Friday, July 26, 2024.
“As part of our Taste of Luxury Series, we are thrilled to showcase an intimate preview of Park City’s newest pizza establishment, Matilda, slated to open this fall,” said Deer Valley Resort VP of Food & Beverage Jacob Musyt. “Guests will enjoy an immersive culinary journey from their chairlift ride arrival, through a memorable evening of al fresco dining set against the backdrop of Deer Valley’s stunning mountain vistas.”
Guests will experience the beauty of an evening chairlift ride to the summit of Flagstaff Mountain, where live fire cooking from special guest Chef Sarah Glover, from The Wild Kitchen, will be ablaze upon arrival. Attendees will indulge in an exclusive menu tasting from Matilda and enjoy perfect pairings from Offset Brewery and High West Distillery. Tickets are available online for this latest event of the Taste of Luxury Series.

Guest Chef Sarah Glover of The Wild Kitchen will be on site demonstrating her open fire cooking methods and incorporating fresh ingredients into the evening’s menu.Guests will arrive at Empire Canyon Lodge to utilize valet parking and then ride the Ruby Express chairlift roundtrip to access the mountaintop event.

Diners will mingle with the culinary teams, Deer Valley’s Director of Beverage, and the Executive Chef of Deer Valley while enjoying a live band and tasting some of the smoked and grilled foods that have made this Kansas City chef famous. Following a BBQ feast, guests can head to the optional Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit concert at Snow Park Amphitheater.
