While Deer Valley is renowned for its winter season, summer reveals a completely different kind of mountain experience. Beginning June 20, 2025, Summer Elevated invites you to immerse yourself in long mountain days filled with music, outdoor adventure, and curated culinary experiences. From live performances under the stars to family hikes through wildflower-lined trails, this is your invitation to experience Deer Valley in a whole new light.

“Whether guests are visiting to catch their favorite artist in concert, hone their culinary craft, or embrace new challenges on a mountain bike, we invite everyone to join us on the mountain for what will be an unforgettable summer,” says Susie English, Vice President of Marketing at Deer Valley Resort.

MUSIC IN THE MOUNTAINS

This summer’s music lineup is nothing short of spectacular. The Deer Valley Music Festival, presented by the Utah Symphony, returns for its 21st season at the Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater. Kicking off on July 3 with Patriotic Pops, the series continues with highlights like Common (July 11), Disney in Concert (July 18), Lindsey Stirling (July 25), and The Beach Boys (August 1–2), among others.

The Deer Valley Concert Series, produced in partnership with The State Room Presents, brings even more music to the mountain. This year’s acts include Maren Morris (July 29), The Revivalists (August 29), and KALEO (September 1), with more artists to be announced. View the full concert lineup at the Deer Valley Summer Concerts page.

Looking for a casual afternoon of local talent? The Summer on the Deck Series at Deer Valley Café offers free live music every Thursday from 12–3 p.m., in partnership with Mountain Town Music. Enjoy lakeside views, signature lunch dishes, and performances by artists like Mel Soul, Aspen Anonda, Will Baxter, and more.

Up at Silver Lake, the weekend comes alive with Friday–Sunday performances from 1–4 p.m. beginning in July. With food trucks from 11 a.m.–4:30 p.m., local brews, and sweeping mountain views, the Silver Lake Music Series is the perfect way to unwind with friends and family.

ELEVATED FLAVORS & CULINARY EXPERIENCES

Summer at Deer Valley is a feast for the senses. The Creative Academy offers hands-on culinary classes every weekend at the Deer Valley Plaza Building. From Sushi & Sake (July 13) and Pie & Beer (July 26) to French Cuisine & Duckhorn Wine Tasting (August 3), Pasta from Scratch (July 27), and Taste of Italy (August 30), each experience is thoughtfully curated and led by seasoned culinary professionals.

For younger guests, the Little Chefs Culinary Series adds a playful spin to cooking. This summer’s offerings include Cupcake Decorating 101 (July 12), Pizza Making (August 9), and Cookie Decorating (August 24)—perfect for hands-on family fun.

Don’t miss Savor the Summit on June 28, where Deer Valley’s culinary team joins other top local chefs for Park City’s iconic outdoor dining event on Historic Main Street. And new this year, the Fire & Flavor Festival on July 12–13 celebrates the art of open-flame cooking with tastings, chef demos, and festive mountain flair.

Later in the season, the Mountain Beer Festival returns in September, offering guests the opportunity to sample a curated selection of local and regional brews surrounded by Deer Valley’s scenic alpine backdrop. With crisp mountain air, live music, and thoughtfully paired bites, it’s an ideal way to toast the end of summer.

MOUNTAIN RECREATION & SUMMER EXPERIENCES

Whether you're looking to test your skills or take in the views, Deer Valley offers a full range of outdoor recreation.

New this summer, the Women’s Ride Series is tailored for intermediate and advanced riders aged 16 and up. These female-led clinics are designed to build confidence, enhance skills, and create connection on the mountain. Sessions are scheduled for July 12, July 26, August 9, and August 23, alternating between morning and afternoon times. Each session is $80 and includes 25% off lift tickets and bike rentals.
Mountain Biking & Lift Access

For broader trail access, the new Wasatch Gravity Pass includes lift-served biking at both Deer Valley and Solitude Mountain Resort for $450. While the Sterling Express lift will be offline this summer due to upgrades, over 50% of trails remain open—including improved flow trails like Ripple, Regulator, and Undertow, all accessible via Snow Park.

Private and group lessons through the Deer Valley Bike School are available daily, offering coaching for guests of all ages and abilities.

SCENIC VIEWS & FAMILY-FRIENDLY FUN

For a more relaxed pace, scenic chairlift rides provide access to panoramic lookouts, wildflower-filled trails, and cooler temperatures at elevation. Mid-mountain access is $10, summit access is $30, and one child 12 and under rides free with each paying adult.

New this year, the New York State of Mine Trail introduces a mid-mountain hike designed for families and casual hikers. It's an ideal way to enjoy the alpine terrain with younger children or those seeking a gentler introduction to hiking in the Wasatch.

Food trucks, outdoor dining at Deer Valley Café, and exclusive retail round out a full day on the mountain.
