Deer Valley Resort Summer Events Include Live Music, Creative Academy Classes & New Women's Bike Series

DEER VALLEY RESORT; PARK CITY, UTAH (May 16, 2025) – Outdoor concerts, culinary adventures, and new mountain biking experiences fill long summer days and nights at Deer Valley this season. From numerous venues to catch live, music on the mountain, to Creative Academy Classes serve up fresh “Little Chefs” courses, and a new Women’s Ride Series unites female mountain bikers out on the trail. Summer operations open Friday, June 20, 2025.

The Deer Valley® Music Festival, presented by the Utah Symphony, celebrates its 21st season this summer at the Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater. Tickets are on sale now at deervalleymusicfestival.org.

Live Music at Silver Lake

Spend your weekends at Deer Valley soaking in the sounds, flavors, and fresh air of the Silver Lake area. From July through mid-September, enjoy live music, food trucks, local brews, and scenic mountain views every Friday – Sunday. This family-friendly experience is the perfect way to relax and unwind in the mountains.

Enhance your visit with a scenic chairlift ride, Sterling Express and Silver Lake Express will be spinning all summer to provide access to hiking trails and panoramic views. Mid-mountain access is $10, and summit access is $30. Each scenic ride includes one free child ticket (ages 12 and under) per paying adult.

Live music runs from 1 to 4 p.m., with food trucks on site from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The 2025 music lineup is still to come, but expect a lively mix of acoustic rock, blues, folk, and more on the Silver Lake lawn this summer.

Mountain Biking
New this summer, Deer Valley’s 2025 Summer Season Pass will be the Wasatch Gravity Pass, a joint pass with access to both Deer Valley and Solitude Mountain Resort for $450. For more information about the Wasatch Gravity Pass, please visit deervalley.com.

Please note, that due to the installation of the new Pinyon Express high-speed 6-pack chairlift on Park Peak and extensive snowmaking infrastructure upgrades on Bald Mountain, mountain biking access via the Sterling Express chairlift will be closed for the 2025 summer season. Approximately 50% of Deer Valley’s bike trails will remain open, with downhill style trails available from the Snow Park area, including the newly enhanced Ripple, Regulator, and Undertow flow trails.

Mountain Bike School and New Women’s Ride Series

Professional bike instructors lead group and private lessons to help riders improve skills, gain confidence, and explore the mountain’s expansive trail system. Clinics and packages for kids and adults of all abilities throughout the summer are available here.

New this year, Deer Valley’s new Women’s Ride Series is all about connection—on the trails and beyond. Mountain bikers looking to refine their skills or savor the thrill of downhill riding with like-minded women can enjoy these rides designed to build confidence and foster community. The series is tailored for intermediate and advanced riders and led by Deer Valley’s professional female bike coaches.
