Deer Valley Announces First Mountain Pride Day
Park City, Utah; June 18, 2024 – Deer Valley Resort is excited to announce their inaugural Mountain Pride Day, celebrating Pride Month with a vibrant and inclusive event. Scheduled for Sunday, June 30, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., this family-friendly celebration will be held on the resort’s Silver Lake lawn located mid-mountain.
Guests are invited to experience a day at Deer Valley filled with festivities, entertainment, and community spirit. Mountain Pride Day is an open event designed to foster togetherness and support for the LGBTQ+ community.
Deer Valley will donate 30% of all lift ticket sales on Mountain Pride Day to Summit Pride. Summit Pride, formerly known as the Park City LGBTQ+ Taskforce, works to sustain and amplify LGBTQ+ inclusivity in the Wasatch Back, ensuring everyone feels a sense of belonging.

- Outdoor Adventures: Participate in mountain biking and hiking with normal resort operations ongoing from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Enjoy a free yoga session on the Silver Lake Lawn at 10:30 am provided by Enlighten Wellness of Park City. Please bring your own yoga mat.
- Join the group Pride Ride down Holy Roller from the top of Sterling Express Chairlift at 1:30 p.m.

This winter, Deer Valley unveils seven new chairlifts, including a 10-passenger gondola, and more than 80 new ski runs. The expansion is part of “Expanded Excellence,” a resort-wide initiative that will grow Deer Valley to 5,726 skiable acres, a new base area and portal at Deer Valley East Village with 1,200 new day skier parking spaces, a Snow Park base area transformation and enhance existing mountain infrastructure. Deer Valley now boasts 31 chairlifts, over 200 ski runs, seven bowls, 300 inches of annual snowfall, and 4,300 skiable acres. The resort also limits daily lift ticket sales and is known for its award-winning ski school, elegant day lodges, exceptional dining, and a wide range of luxury accommodations. Deer Valley has been named the United States’ Best Ski Resort by the World Ski Awards for 12 consecutive years.
