Deer Valley Fire & Flavor Festival, Creative Academy & Taste of Luxury Series Return This Summer
DEER VALLEY RESORT; PARK CITY, UTAH (May 28, 2026) – Deer Valley Resort offers a full menu of elevated dining experiences throughout the summer season, including the 2nd Annual Fire & Flavor Festival, hands-on cooking classes from the Deer Valley Creative Academy, and the exclusive Taste of Luxury Series, featuring events with the acclaimed Chef Clément Gelas and Kansas City’s own Chef Ryan Arensdorf.

Deer Valley returns to Savor the Summit for an unforgettable evening of open-air dining on Park City's Historic Main Street. The evening begins with a social hour featuring champagne pours from Laurent-Perrier and gourmet appetizers. Guests can gather around the signature eight-foot paella pan, featuring squid ink rice with lobster, razor clams, octopus and shrimp, as Deer Valley’s culinary team prepares a three-course dinner, paired with select wines from Duckhorn Vineyards. Limited seating is available.

Fire & Flavor Festival returns to Silver Lake for its second year, where acclaimed chefs bring live-fire cooking to the mountains every Saturday and Sunday from July 11 through Aug. 9. Featured chefs include Chef Sarah Glover, Matilda & Gozney Pizza, Overland Cookery, and back-to-back weekends with Chef Ryan Aresndorf. Food and beverages are available à la carte throughout the festival, along with craft pours from local Utah breweries and live music.
Admission is free with the purchase of a lift ticket, and one child rides free per paying adult. Elevate your visit with a Summer Access Pass or enjoy complimentary summer access with a Deer Valley Season Pass.

The night continues with a thoughtfully curated five-course wine pairing dinner honoring the 50th anniversary of the 1976 Judgment of Paris, where each dish is perfectly matched with exceptional wines that tell the story of this groundbreaking event.

Acclaimed Chef Ryan Arensdorf travels from Kansas City to showcase his award-winning barbecue techniques and signature flavors. The event features an exclusive meet-and-greet reception followed by an intimate dinner experience, culminating with access to an optional live concert, Chicago the Musical, presented by Deer Valley and the Utah Symphony at the Snow Park Amphitheater. Guests will enjoy curated cocktails, tastings and beverage pairings from High West Distillery and Offset Bier, enhancing this immersive culinary and sensory experience. This Taste of Luxury series will be the release celebration for the new Deer Valley Pilsner produced by Offset Bier. The Deer Valley Pilsner has been collaborated on by Offset Bier and Deer Valley, and brewed by owner and head brewmaster, Conor Brown.

This charismatic restaurant and gourmet deli located lakeside in the Deer Valley Plaza building offers indulgent breakfast and lunch in the inviting café and on the outdoor deck overlooking the mountains of Deer Valley. A convenient selection of grab-and-go items, as well as kitchenware, cookbooks, candles and gifts, are also available.
Royal Street Café
Opening June 26 | 11:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. daily
Located mid-mountain at the Silver Lake Lodge, Royal Street Café offers creative American and international cuisine with scenic deck dining. Menu options include creative appetizers, delectable sandwiches, Deer Valley’s Turkey Chili, fresh salads and specialty entrées, and a tempting assortment of desserts.
The Sticky Wicket
Opening June 26 | 11:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. daily
This vintage 21+ bar is located mid mountain, upstairs of the Silver Lake Lodge, and transports guests to the early days on the slopes. Open daily for lunch and late into the afternoon for après-bike beverages and bites, the menu includes delectable appetizers, signature sandwiches, crisp salads and desserts large enough to share. The full-service bar serves hand crafted cocktails, as well as a wide selection of wine, ciders, seltzers and beer.
The Brass Tag
Opening June 26 | 5 – 9 p.m. Thursday – Sunday
The Brass Tag in the Lodges at Deer Valley offers dinner service throughout the summer. Enjoy a selection of fine Italian cuisine either at your table or to-go, including creative small plates, fresh salads, brick-oven pizza, house-made pasta and specialty entrées, featuring the best locally sourced ingredients and accompaniments. A unique selection of desserts, a full bar, beer and wine are also available.

THE DEER VALLEY DIFFERENCE
Deer Valley Resort, located in Park City, Utah, set the standard for luxury in skiing by offering the service and hospitality of a five-star hotel. The ski-only resort is now delivering the largest expansion in ski resort history for the 2025/26 season. This winter, Deer Valley unveils seven new chairlifts, including the East Village Express—a 10-passenger gondola connecting the new Deer Valley East Village to Park Peak. Since December 2024, Deer Valley has added 10 new lifts, doubling its skiable terrain and redefining the mountain experience. This transformation is part of Expanded Excellence, a resort-wide initiative that includes a new portal at Deer Valley East Village with 1,200 day-skier parking spaces, the reimagining of Snow Park base area, and enhancements to on-mountain infrastructure. The resort now features 31 chairlifts, 4,300 skiable acres, seven bowls, and benefits from 300 inches of average annual snowfall. Deer Valley limits daily lift ticket sales and is renowned for its award-winning ski school, elegant day lodges, exceptional dining, and a wide range of luxury accommodations. In 2026, the resort named GMC as the official vehicle of Deer Valley and introduced a new fleet of GMC vehicles for resort transportation and guest experiences. Deer Valley has been named the United States’ Best Ski Resort by the World Ski Awards for 13 consecutive years.
